Dowsing’s works involved the construction of machine-laid TL-4 concrete barriers, kerbing in various profiles and a combination of diamond grinding and grooving treatments to meet ride quality and surface finish specifications.
- 7,000lm of TL-4 double-sided wall slipform barrier construction
- 6,600lm kerbing (various profiles)
- 20,250m² conventional diamond grinding (patch)
- 10,900m² flush diamond grinding (patch)
- 92,402m² grooving
- Continuous placement of high-strength concrete using slipform paving machine to TL-4 profile
- Surface finish verification and QA testing in accordance with TfNSW specification requirements
Dowsing successfully constructed compliant TL-4 slipform barrier, achieving consistent alignment, profile, and structural performance in accordance with TfNSW specifications.
By supporting the CPBGG JV’s revised pavement strategy, Dowsing optimised program efficiency and resource utilisation while maintaining road safety and functional outcomes. All works were completed safely, on schedule, and to specification, reinforcing Dowsing’s capability in delivering large-scale slipform and diamond grinding works for major road infrastructure projects.
