Stage 1 of the works, extending from Gnangara Road to Motivation Drive, delivered a high-quality shared path through a reserve environment adjacent to a busy dual carriageway, improving safety, accessibility and connectivity for the local community while supporting increased uptake of active transport options.
The project was delivered along a live dual carriageway with high traffic volumes, requiring careful planning to minimise disruption. Construction was staged under controlled lane closures, with critical activities scheduled during night works to maintain traffic flow and ensure public safety.
