The comprehensive scope of works highlights Dowsing Group’s expertise in delivering public infrastructure upgrades includes:
- 3.5km TL5 (1070mm high) concrete barrier installation, 1km differential height TL5 barrier installation
- 13x concrete to W-beam end treatment transitions.
- Supply of concrete for slip formed barriers, including concrete trial mix results and required concrete testing.
- Placement, extruding, compacting / vibrating, finishing and curing of all slip formed and in-situ concrete components including barriers, barrier transitions and end treatments, patching, grouting, rubbing and repair.
- Base preparation works, trenching.
- Installation of drainage penetrations.
- Installation and fixing of all prestressing strands, reinforcement steel, cast in items and joints,
- Tie into existing concrete safety barriers.
- All joint preparation work including saw cutting and joint sealing and pre-pour and post-pour treatment.
- Completion of onsite trial sections.
- Modifications to the machine to swap the machine from LHS to RHS configuration.
