The project aimed to address the progressive deterioration of the carpark infrastructure, which had led to severe cracking, potholes, structural pavement failure, and significant kerb damage, creating hazards for both pedestrians and vehicles.
The overarching objective was to rehabilitate the carparks to a modern, durable standard that is fully compliant, while scheduling works during a period of low commuter demand to minimise disruption and ensure an efficient delivery program.
