Experienced Profiler / Cold Mill Operators / Bobcat Sweeper Operators
We are looking for experienced Profiling/Cold Milling Operators & Bobcat Sweeper Operators on either a Full Time or Casual employment for an immediate start.
Extensive experience operating road profiling equipment is essential for this position within the asphalt and road construction industry. Typical machines our Profiling team use day to day are:
- 2m Profiler
- 1m Profiler
- Pocket Rocket
- Bobcat (sweeper attachment)
This role is for you to become a member of our Dowsing team working on-site operating a Wirtgen profiling machines. In addition, there is opportunity for you to work in Perth Metro area and/or Regional WA.
Each day when profiling, general maintenance on the machines is expected following every shift along with completing works with the crew to the highest standard.
You will need to be flexible and available to work a mix of dayshifts, nightshifts & weekend work. We offer allowance uplifts up to 50% loading for nightshift, weekend and away works.
Skills:
- Operate and maintain a profiling machine with a high degree of skill and precision.
- Ensure accurate and efficient removal of existing road surfaces in preparation for resurfacing.
- Have a high regard and ensure safe work protocols to minimise risks to people & property.
- Be able to collaborate with the profiling crew to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Perform daily routine maintenance and inspections of profiling equipment to keep it in optimal working condition.
*Profiler Machine Operators
- Experience operating 2m or 1m machine is essential
- Experience on profiling crews is essential
- Experience on pocket rocket (W35Ri’s) is desirable (not essential)
- HC license is desirable (not essential)
- Opportunity for nightshifts, dayshifts, weekends, metro and/or regional works
*Bobcat Sweeper Operators
- Experience using sweeper attachment is essential
- HC license desirable (not essential)
- Experience on profiling or asphalt crews desirable (not essential)

Reporting to our Profiling Delivery Management team, this role is focused on critical road works on infrastructure projects all around the Perth metro as well as regionally in WA.
We are looking for a good work ethic, reliability and positive “can do” attitude above all. Full time work will be offered after a successful probationary period.
Day to day this role will see you:
- Commence the day at the Maddington depot
- Complete required machine inspections
- Completing tasks set out by the Delivery Manager
- Attend daily site prestart meetings with site crew
- Operate machinery required to complete jobs efficiently to a high standard
- General maintenance on machines
- Receive on the job training and growth in the company
