Dowsing Group is seeking experienced Concrete Crew Leaders to join our established civil services team working across Local Government and council projects.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, can lead from the front, and is looking for consistent, long-term employment with a reputable company.

Your Role:
- You’ll lead a concrete crew across residential and streetscape sites, ensuring high-quality outcomes and efficient daily productivity
- Plan and manage daily works based on weather conditions, crew capability and project scope
- Read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
- Lead and deliver forming and pouring of footpath works to required productivity targets (approx. 50m² per crew member per day)
- Complete intermediate concrete works including:
- Exposed Aggregate
- Reinforced slabs (machine trowel finish)
- Liquid limestone
- Broom & Sponge finish
- Pram ramps, crossovers and minor kerbing
- Delegate tasks effectively and supervise crew performance on site
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
- Complete end-of-day reporting including photos, production data, and site updates using company iPad
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in concreting
- At least 1 year of residential concreting experience (footpaths, pavements, crossovers, pram ramps)
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate a crew
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable, motivated, and safety-conscious
- Strong work ethic with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol screening
Skills & Qualifications:
- Construction White Card (essential)
- C Class Manual Driver’s Licence (essential)
- MR Licence (desirable)
- Quickcut Ticket (desirable)
